What dohc head for 4g64?
Yeah dude I'm running the same app I got the 4g64 block, stripped it down, I have got to get it to a machiene shop for prepping, I was going to go with an evo8 head too, but they are expensive and then i found out that you can also use a kia optima, or hyundai head, but the biggest problem is trying to find an evo8 AWD suspension/drivetrain I was told that it should bolt-on but that the rear end had to be reinforced... but that's neither here nor there I've got to do some more research. 02lancerboy keep us posted and if you get any leads on an extra evo8 susp/dt let me know lol and let me know how the AWD swap goes!
read this thread. I have already done the G64 swap and was going to do what you are planning to do until my Lancer was taken from me (RIP LUCKY!!)

once you do all this, swapping the heads will be cake for any shop. The G63 head is what u will need. KEEP IN MIND that the Kia and Hyundai motors are NOT THE SAME as the evo G63. 1) they are higher compression. 2) they are made from cheaper grade metals. THOSE ARE NOT THE SAME AS THE ONES THAT MITSUBISHI DOES. Mitsu sells the blue prints for the G63 to these manufacturers and THEY build them in Korea/China where its cheaper and done with cheaper metals. So do that at your OWN RISK! I would spend the money on the Mitsu G63 head. Its tried and true!
