The lip kit weights about 50-60 Lbs . That inlcudes Front lip , side skirts and rear wing . Also take the wing off it it has one and you woul deven loose more . Take the Rear sway bar off and go with coilovers . In what i just said i would easy see a 120 Lbs in weight lost .

120 lbs from just the lip kit and wing? That seems hellishly high to me.

His estimate of 120lbs also included switching to coilovers and removing the rear sway bar along with the lip kit and wing. Regardless, 120lbs still seems a bit on the high side for all that...

Yeah, unless the lip and side skirts are made of solid steel, I don't see 120 lbs coming from those mods.

Cool. might have to get drastic if u wanna see it get any lower then that..
Evos Can get down to 2300-2400lbs (fully, fully, fully gutted down)
I gutted my doors, but left the mounting points so i could leave the covers on(covers might not stay for long)
CF truck, CFhood are the easy (but expensive upgrades)

fully gutted interrior, no dash, angle grinded off a few big brackets that actually weighed a ton..

without the turbo kit on my car, or my fat but, car weighed in just under 2k.. but its not exactly a street safe car.. LOL.. goal is 1800.. i got a few things to do still..

-5 gallon fuel cell is still at the top of my list.. and a full underbody tray

Oh, and the seats weight
factory driver seat (48lbs)
factory passenger seat (36lbs)
rear seat cushion (4lbs)
rear back support with bars attached(the 60/40 seat) (28lbs)
brackets for the seats, about another 15-20lbs..
Carpet (44lbs)
sound deadener (45lbs) (give or take 5 lbs, was hard to weigh)
Crash beams, and chacoal box, from the rear, about 40lbs.

Factory fuel cell, weighs alot actually, little under 100lbs from what i was told from an evo owner(without any gas in it)

i dont see a reason in removing the rear sway bar unless ur 100% drag only. but with that inmind.. Most drag hondas remove the front sway bar, NOT the rear. (i use alot of stuff from what i find on other FWD cars and try to apply it the lancer as much as possible)
coilovers will save a few lbs, and also help with setting ur ride height properly, u defiantelly want to look into a stiffer rear springs for the coilovers so u dont have near as much weight transferroff the front tires..

If ur wanting to drop ur Times more for drag racing, go ahead and get u some 15x8 rims, and some 22x8 or 24.5x8 slicks for the track, that will make the BIGGEST different, shaved almost .9tenths off my time, and made my 300' times much more consistant.

about all i can think of as of right now..

My goal is to see 2k-2100 with my fat butt in the car. (im a heafty 280)

Nice i just swapped to some 17x7 that i got for real cheap. So im going to see how they do they weigh a little bit more but the sidewall is not flexing so i think i will have a better 60' idk i need to get a set of 15 with some slicks. i want 13's with this engine before it goes. and with all the work you have in your car i think you will be able to get it there. The weight you want that's including the cage that you WILL need correcr?
