I'm in class and don't have anything to do, so here we go:

Wrong, Amby is spewing his own personnal experience in his own lancer, and also the experiences of others on their lancers.

You never answered this question; did they have it on a lancer? The lancer's engine does not respond well at all to bolt-ons, as stated (AND PROVEN) by Amby and others.

I'm not trying to be an ****, I'm just trying to say that you're arguing (for lack of a better word) with people who have quite a bit of experience with the lancer engine about something that's been proven to not make any kind of reasonable difference (yea, 1hp is a difference, but it won't take half a second off your ¼ mile times).

I'll head back into my little corner now

EDIT: Also, to be fair: yes, the theory is that a CAI yeilds greater gains than an SRI because it sucks in colder air. It's just that on the 4G94, it doesn't change anything.

Hahahahahaha, I hope everyone else notices the hypocrisy of someone accusing you of having no life for posting online, by posting online. You joined here in June 2009 yet you've decided to act like a child to people who have been here considerably longer. Hate to break it to you son but some of us have been there, done that. I had a heavily modified Lancer and guess what, I gained very little power for a lot of money (ie. thousands of dollars). I have the results to prove it as do various other members. If you bothered to do a search or read the FAQ that is found in the Lancer section (which I wrote as well but whatever), you'd know this. Rather than act like a baby, maybe you should shut up and listen to people who are actually trying to save you money, like Geico.

Dude hypocrisy? Posting is one thing....12,335 is a career.

And I didn't discredit or disrespect anyone on here besides you because you were rude about it. In fact I think I thanked everyone more than once.

Just because you're knowledgeable in lancers doesn't make you a messiah nor does it make me your "son"

I would call being a baby, continuing an argument I tried to end more than a page ago.

And in mature enough to know internet thugs who chose to get upset over forums are a waste of time. You don't get a nobel prize for stating your opinion on a forum so relax.

...did I mention I already bought the sri???

dude idk what is ur problem, we are here only to help. Amby was just trying to educate you in something u obviously have little practical experience in. I 2 had a 2003 lancer es auto (first car) and I quickly learned here on evom that its just a beater and will never be spectacular unless u throw in so much money that u can buy an evo instead, which i did after 2 years of just driving it around with some nice rims a SRI and a crazy loud system. (on a side note its fun to ghetto fwd drift it by ripping the ebrake if u have a good set a tires, its very predictable)

PS. you are lucky Amby is now a former mod.
PSv2. yes we kno u bought the SRI

Don't be a douchebag. He's trying to help you follow the rules and get good results, which is generally a good thing. The people you're criticizing for spending large amounts of time on the forum are the same people everyone asks for help when they can't figure something out - like asking a fairly simple question that's been discussed before, and asking it in the wrong forum to boot.

Enjoy your "life". Thread closed, the other one is trashed.
