..for $615. its a recession dammit!!
A must do? he said its a 4 hour job. And if I do have to get it done do you think it'd be ok to get it done from any shop. I know this immigrant owned place that does everything for half the price of everyone else.

yes its a must do, an you can take it to any place.. I bought my own belt and water pump and took it to my cousin who's a mechanic and owns his own shop, he installed it for 300. And local mechanics are a lot cheaper like 60-75 bucks an hour, dealerships are 85+, so buy the parts you're self and find a dependable local mechanic and save your self some cash. And if you dont, your belt could snap and be screwed.
I had mine replaced during the summer for my 100k km tune-up. I had it done at a regular garage though, not the dealer. I'll check my bill tonight to see how much it cost me.

i did mine at 100k. i didnt have the money to get the pump as well. but im thinking at 160k i will do it all. pump and belt. get it done and over with. i have 135k on the car now so i dont have that much further to go.

ya i know but i just havent had the time nor the money to do it. yes i work at an auto parts store that has it but i avent had the moeny to do it with student loans to pay back and 8 months left of car payments (then the car is mine, i still have like 2 years on the turbo, thank you visa!)
