Post Road///race High Flow Test Pipe Question

From the RRM Site:

ROAD///RACE HIGH FLOW TEST PIPE

Lancers have two catalytic converters. They choke the exhaust and thus hamper performance. Road Race high flow cats free the exhaust allowing your engine to perform significantly better. It has O2 sensor threaded hole built in.. These are for racing only. Keep your old cat for on highway use.

NOTE: This test pipe WILL NOT make"check engine" light come on.
Is this a easy bolt on?

Whats wrong with driving daily with it?

I'm thinking of getting this for the day i got to get my car dyno'd and to do some 1/4Mile Runs.

I plan on doing this once my car is compeleted with NA Mods.

Anyone with simple tools, a jack, and jackstands can do it.

It's called saving their asses, so they can't get sued later. Since it is illegal to remove cats like that (on public roads). Since your replacing a cat with a metal pipe.

6 bolts all together i think. I just got my exhuast yesterday. 2 1/2 inch mandrel bent piping from the turbo downpipe. sounds really good and really opened it up. the RRM test pipe helps alot to free up air and decrease back pressure.

Talking Bringing back some threads

Come to Alabama We don't have emission laws here. Most police would never check for a cat ( trust me on this). Even if they did, we don't even have vehicle inspections to pass here. Can you say BACKWOODS?

Already know Mitsu stock muffler isn't as efficient as it supposed to be . . . frequency problem after 5K rpm.

Got 1 Q: Somehow that cat-converter looks wrong, unless it's the secondary one. No cat-converter should have material blocking its inards.

Talk about restriction on the exhaust side: inlet of cat-converter is 2 inch. outlet of cat converter is approx 1 7/8 while tail pipe shrinks to a mere 1.5 inches in ID. It can't get any worse than my car.

Also, stick cat-converter should weigh around 11 lbs using an elec scale for packages.
