i belive the eclipse both 1g and 2g had fwd trannies that went to the 4g63...the thing is with that...nothing from those cars line up with our cars...everything is one the wrong side,

on a side note....dont we share the same chassis as the evo?...i thought that that was the only real thing that was similar with our cars?

 

I've been told the Galant tranny will mate to the 4G63 nicely, is FWD and has everything in the right place to make this engine swap work. ..... this is just a rumor and I was directed to the mirage forums for more info.
