Actually I saw them on the site a while ago, but at the moment you're right - they are gone.

so you rather use the Stock evo x cams over the BC? was it for the sensor issue or performance reasons? I wanna build my car when the warranty is up, but keep it fully N/A. Im on the toss up with either stage 2 or 3 cams. I dont mind the work and rebuilding the engine in time, i want to do it for the fun of it and buy an Evo down the road.

I have stock evo cams waiting to be installed. I've heard nothing but bad news with the 272 cams unless you have a built motor. I'll probably get custom springs, retainers etc...but my question is

How the hell did his tuner raise the rev limit on a CVT???? I thought it was locked to 6k. 6.5k would be nice and safe bump under most circumstances.

Bumping post.. looking for the same answer as well. .. I was going to have the engine built to fit the rest of the mods I would like to use. Still thinking of no turbo, just want a faster street car.. Rather save the Turbo for an Evo down the road. This is just a DD.

I called around to some shops asking for the labor required for the cam swap and I was quoted 14 hours at one shop and 10 hours at another.

They said it's not the direct swap people say it is.

Also, on a side note Rallinspired Rick said that his shop had done the install before and it was a direct swap

So I have a 2013 Lancer ES CVT

I want to get more power to at least keep up with fellow crew members

I was thinking of either getting the RRM turbo kit OR going with Stage 2 CB cams, springs, and retainers, RRM headers, RRM lightweight crank pulley, and tune
What would power gains/differences be between either route?

before you start throwing money at your lancer, take some time to lurk through some posts in multiple forums. Long story short with the CVT lancer is you'll be spending a lot of money to get small gains. Full bolt ons and a tune on a 2.0 cvt will get you around 150whp. (assuming you're not pulling in D on the dyno. running a cvt on a dyno in D makes the output reading erroneously high.) When you do spend the big bucks for noticeable gains i.e. turbo, you run the risk of breaking the transmission.

Also, I'm keeping my car NA, but I understand that you can still get 20 HP out of those cams on a NA motor. Am I way out of line here?
carvs is right bro u got a 2.4 so it's no Bueno but for the 2.0 4b11, almost everything From the Evo x is interchangeable, almost everything but not quite,

Im looking to install the EVO cams as well and Im pretty mechanical minded what with building 4x4's this but tuning is a whole new ballpark to me so is this the right start after the camshaft install?
Step 1. Buy tantrix cable and wideband o2
Step 2. Purchase evo scan it's $25 and you can download it as many times as you want.
Step 3 download ecu flash it's free and great.
Step 4 go to evolutionm to find a tuner that specializes in non turbo lancers that has great reviews.

Im really just wondering if theres a way for someone to tune my car via emal being the nearest tune shop is 6 hours away and im not sure if I can drive the car that far with the evo cams without doing any damage
Thanks
