There was talk earlier in the thread on how to tell what the injectors looks like by looking at them

The 4b11 ones are here
http://imgur.com/a/BPsUOhO

See that white band on them , that's how you tell if they are 4b11

Evo X / Ralliart injectors don't have a white band, they have a red band (and obviously the part number is different)

http://imgur.com/a/rBE7TF4

And 4b12 injectors look the same at the others but with a different colour band and part number

http://imgur.com/a/DAF1t30

So that's how you can tell the difference of the OEM Injectors by just looking at them

Hope this helps

If you tune the ECU , there no need new cam shaft .

Stock evo x cams do not require the springs to be replaced and are only really useful if you increase the throttle size, improve exhaust and intake system first. If you have a CVT, forget it!!! A tuned stock 4B12 is more than capable of destroying the CVT and the TCM will be limiting available torque and rpm anyhow....
Heck no man its a manual i would be scared to even add a cai to a cvt lancer! lol i'll start with the small stuff first. After the cam and springs should i just tune it and be fine to daily? That should give it some decent power!

Blackgts10 Installing cams is easy but tuning for different cams is far more complex than it first appears......do you already know how to do this? I see plenty of well known "Pro Tuner" attempts that prove most of them have no idea either.
So think twice before doing something you will regret. Did you notice I said stock evo x cams do not require springs to be changed and no point in doing cams before improving intake? Also evo x exhaust cam is exactly the same as 4B12 ex cam so zero gain in changing that.
The starting point is always to do absolutely nothing to the engine before you establish the ability to comprehensively log it. This require you to download the current ROM, create a suitable definition file, enable mode23 and reflash it. Then you need to create a logging configuration file for either SDCard logging or Evoscan logging. Then you take the car for a few runs and establish a baseline log for a WOT run in 2nd gear from below 2000rpm to rpm limit.
If you haven't done all of this, you are just blowing smoke out your @#$% and you are just a "decorator".
Not having a go at you personally, just pointing this out to all who think about going down this path....

yeah im not trying to be a ricer ive just never had a tune done i dont know the exact process thought u just went to a tuneshop or got a manual tuner. I saw somebody posted that the x springs will give you some more durability. I was gonna do the stupid stuff first like exhaust and headers. Its just a ****box anyway i guess so i'll just keep it stock and do nothing to it.

4B11T springs have more seating pressure to combat valve bounce at much higher rpms than you will sensibly operate the non-turbo (much weaker) variants of the 4B1x engines. Stronger valve springs are required if going to a typical stage 2 cam (270 degree duration, over 10.5mm lift) but stock springs can handle up to a stage 1 cam (260 duration, less than 10.5mm lift)

I agree with what you said!!!

If RRM has a Turbo Kit that is specifically designed to handle 09-15 Lancer ES, DE, GTS with CVT Transmissions under low boost that would give the Engine about a theortical 40% more HP (164HP x 1.40 = 230 HP) then I really don't see what the problem is with installing Evo X Cams/Brain Crowler Cams in a CVT Transmission. I do totally agree with what was mentioned about installing new valve springs, retainers, valves, valve tappets/lifters to be able to handle the new Lobe Duration and Lobe Lift since the new Intake And Exhaust Cams will put alot of stress on the Valve Assembly of your 4b11/b12.

I am sure you have'nt swapped out a 4b12 engine and CVT assembly for an 4b11T and Evo Manual Transmission yourself if so please enlighten us?

This is probably a dead thread by now but I've got a 2017 Lancer that I have access to a pretty defined XML with my ROM, am I able to install EVO X Cams without having to replace the retainers and springs?
