Header choice

I saw OBX header + dp for 195$ + shipping on ebay.

I saw that RRM sell header, but no downpipe?? If so i keep stock one? or make a custom one at exhaust shop?

Or i should only change nothing and keep stock one. ( headers + dp )

Since ill get a tune this spring, do it will be usefull or useless to change it or not.

I've got an High flow cat and 2.25" full catback.

What's your 2 cent guys?

I have the OBX header/dP.
The down pipe takes the place of your factory down pipe and your under car cat.
So you can not run a cat with the OBX setup.

This is how I am running, both ofmy cats have been removed.
It makes your car tons louder, be ready for that.

I'm sure the RRM one is good, I just can't see paying that much for a header.

I believe it will help in adding power once you are tuned.
I know my car is running rich as hell and needs a tune bad, but I've also done about 10 other things to it.
But once I am able to lean mine out, watch out.

I think the OBX is made good, though others have had trouble with it.
But remember you will run catless.

RRM = Cat

OBX = No Cat

If you require a inspection/smog test in your state you should probably go with the RRM one. It uses the stock down pipe. It only eliminates the first cat on your exhaust header.

OBX is a bit louder than RRM so its kind of up to you. I'm running a flow master and working on getting something else right now LOL

ahaha, making too much noise? :P i'm looking for dynomax.

So with OBX i cant run high flow, interesting

With RRM one, it do a good job with stock downpipe? or i would be better making a custom one?

The stock one should be fine but the obx sounds like it would run smoother (flow wise). No cat = no restrictions. Like i said, its really up to you. The flowmaster is too loud. I live on a reservation so anything goes LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
