WOW!
I've had my GTS sport back for about 2 weeks now and tonight i really opened it up and had some fun with it. I was seriously impressed. I have driven an extremely wide range of cars/trucks. I have had several Xr4ti Merkurs and this car ripped and gripped with the best of them.
I was taking sharp turns and unsafe speeds and loving it! its not the fastest thing on the planet but a ton of fun for the money, especially when compared to my pooch of a mazda (1.5L protege) i had before it.
I did have a few general questions, one is another thread about and SRI.
Another, how does it behave with higher quality fuel? It has 87 now (winter blend as i am in Michigan). Does it get a little more peppy with 91 and up?
And tires, for best traction can anyone recommend some real winners?
Thanks! im reallying loving this car and am definitely gonna be around these forums alot!

Yeah it gets better with higher octane fuels. But to really get this out, u need to mod it. Try running additives even when uve got a nice intake, exhaust and tune and u will really see some nice results.
As for tires, a good tire that isnt expensive and grips really well (probably more than ur gonna need) are hankook V12's.

Yea, I really love the grip and turning radius of this car. I had an 04 Mustang GT that I spend almost 2k on the suspension with a few more items to go and this car can easily go through the corners stock much better than my stang.
I have a 2010 GTS and I just put H&R springs on it and drove through my local park at a pretty high speeds. It was a blast. I was pretty flat on the turns (the roads twist and turn quite a bit) and it actually gave me a greater adreline rush then when i took it up to 120. lol
