Concerns about the new RRM Short Ram Intake

So, the story goes: I just recently bought a Short Ram Intake from RRM as well as the Piggyback ECU they sell for my 2009 Lancer ES Sport. I have yet to install the piggyback, but have had an issue this very morning with the engine. Yesterday after installing the SRI I drove the car around and everything worked well. In fact, I was very pleased with the results, but when I turned the key this morning my SES light illuminated on the dashboard and my engine began to pulse. I was unable to apply any power to the car. I turned the car off, popped the hood, and got out to check my connections and make sure nothing was loose or crimped (like possibly crimping the fuel line is some way). everything checked out and appeared fine. Nothing was loose or crimped. I got back in the car, waited 20 second and proceeded to turn the key again. The car started up just fine, and has been running fine since. so, my questions and concerns are: Is this a reoccuring problem I should be prepared to face, and if I install my piggyback will this resolve the issue? I don't want to cause damage to my little 2.0 4b11 since it is my daily driver. Thanks in advance for the help.

P.S. I tried the search function and came up with negative results concerning this issue.

I managed to fix the problem after speaking with the lead tech at RRM. Aparently the O-ring that comes shipped with the SRI is too large, but the stock O-ring is too small. So, a trip to the hardware store and a few cents later the *new* O-ring fits like a champ and has solved my problem.

This intake is far from a new item so you know. You may have just found out about it/them but RRM has had that intake for at least 4 years.

I was meerly using "new" as a relative term since it is new to me. Also, if you're going to waste your time replying please provide something substantial rather than nonsense that is unrelated to the issue of the OP. Thanks.

Your title states Concerns about THE NEW RRM SRI. Not MY NEW RRM SRI, MAJOR difference in the way you stated things. Your title says that its a brand new item from the company, not that it is new to you. I do not believe new is a relative term in any sense. New is a specific adjective to describe something. And the comment is a substantial reply. I stated it is not a brand new item, thus commenting on your initial post while being on topic and informative to anyone else that was confused by your title.
