Can't do a head swap...would need a DOHC head off of a 4G9X engine and I'm not sure if there are any...
Somewhere in THIS mess is some info on the possiblity (and other Evo/Lancer component swaps)...look for bahamut's post...

For the right side T-belt orientation for the 4g9x block, others have pointed this out to me in the past . . . Virage.
China Motor company - has the DIS, right way T-belt, 1.8L (look at the cc's), and DOHC head (need T-belt too besides the ecu).

The Proton Satri GTI in Mayalysia (sp) and Aussie has the 1.8L DOHC head too but faces the wrong way.
