FMU is pressure activated. If you dont' see positive boost it will not raise fuel pressure to the best of my knowledge. Get a FPR, not an FMU if you're going to do this.

Also as far as I know no piggyback or standalone is going to allow you to tune cam/valve timing. That's all mechanical. The timing you alter to account for it is ignition timing.

 

You're gonna have a much rougher idle with the new cam and the only way to correct it is by tuning. Plus, like uranium posted (correct me if I'm wrong), the addition of a cam lost power and gas mileage until the car was correctly tuned.

 

so if i got the cams, i could take them to any shop to have it tunned? or could i do it myself, err where can i take it?

also, are cams really that great that i should worry bout installing them so soon, or should i wait a bit. and what is everything i will need w the cams, ive read about ppl with crap idling, and some things bout the cam gear, valve springs, and some type of ecu or emanage to fix it, just wats everything needed to go wit tha cams. just 2 b curious, what mods did u guys use with the cams when u installed them?

Besides the manifold and throttlebody, what other mods Can i do as of now besides the cams. forgive my newb questions
