haha its funny, today i went to go get my exhaust checked for a leak...and 4 some reason my cel is off now. he didnt hook anything up or nuthin he just checked the car. he used the latch on the throttle body to rev it to check, and he got it up really loud and high and did it for quite a while, but ever since he did that my cel light has been off :P go figure, but thats my best bet on why it went off. he didnt do anything else special.

 

okay i just ordered stock gaskets today they come in friday so when i reinstall the header ill let u guys know if that fixes it. RRM told me i could use the stock gaskets but i guess they didnt know i had that many miles. they were fried n crispy i knew it would have been a problem.. all that work for nothing!

 

Does anyone have a part number for the gaskets he's refering to? Can you buy better gaskets that will fit just as well or better? Or is OEM the best to use?

A part number would be really helpful...

oops sorry ive been working. if you dont get my pm yes they are oem. im going to install them after i wake up im about to go to sleep ill let you know how it goes.

 

So yeah, I just installed this... I used the correct torque specs. Now I have this noise that's in beat with my engine (speeds up with acceleration, slows as I stop) ... it almost sounds like a clicking sound.... what the hell is that??
