I got a gasket for $60.00, bolts $58.00 (15 bolts, need only 12), water pump $45.00, timing belt $35.00 .
Install is very cheap thanks to Omarboy25 who gave me a number to his friend

Wow. I'm going to give it a shot reusing the head bolts and gasket, after discussing the matter with Engineerboy.
I'm glad to hear the timing belt is cheap, though.

Boe - visiting Cleveland anytime soon?

I really don't think you can reuse the bolts and the gasket!!!
From what I have been told it's impossible!
Correct me if I am wrong.

you're wrong. I've reused both and plan to reuse them again when I install my cam and new ported head (different from the ported head that's on the car now) I may even be finished tonight- I put in 2 hours last night and took the IM and header off and drained the fluids. Tonight I'll have closer to 5 and can probably get most of the major stuff done, if not finish.

you reused your headgaskets?? That can't be right!

Headbolts are fine to reuse.

They're metal- why wouldn't I reuse them? Obviously it hasn't been a problem.... and if it should become a problem, I'll just reuse the one that came with my spare engine. Compression is good and I haven't used up an inordinate amount of oil (except for one day for autocross school I was on the track for about 4 hours at or near redline in 2nd. Then I ate about 1/2 qt)

If I get to the part where I torque down the headbolts and there's slop or another issue, then sure, I'll use a different gasket. I'm not gonna spend $60 everytime I swap a head- that's just bad sense. Maybe next time

From many years of experience I can say i would never reuse a head gasket. If it's working out fine for you then go for it...

For all others i strongly disagree with reusing the headgasket... They ARE NOT ment to be reusible!

Especially if you're boosting... just ask any reputable shop.

If you switch to copper gaskets then you can reuse them a few times... but they are totally different.

Boosting is a different issue- in that case it's imperative that you use a new gasket. No argument there.
If, when I take the head itself off again, the gasket doesn't look 100%, then it's time for a new one. If, when I go to tighten the bolts, they feel sloppy or don't want to sit right on the 90deg angles, then it's time for a new one.

Am I tempting fate? Somewhat. Am I concerned? No, because I can do the whole swap in less than 11 hours (and that last time it took 11 hours because I had the exhaust valves on the intake side and had to completely disassemble and reassemble the head before install- this time should be less than 8 total) and it's free for me to do it. If I was doing this for someone else, I'd certainly NOT do it without them showing up with gaskets- I'm not going to do this twice and not get paid twice

I appreciate your concern.

I have a set that I bought off of tweak3d. Havent had them installed yet but Im about to have them done. It is going to cost me $300 plus a head gasket I did have one guy who said he would do it for $100 and a case of beer but Im not to sure if that is a good idea Anyways, does anyone have them installed already? If anyone has, how is the difference in power? Is it noticeable?

Make sure you give him the case of Beer after he finishes!
