ROAD/RACE- Anyone interested in FORGED N/A PISTONS?
you can tune a car with higher compression... it's just a little harder but it can be done. The only thing is you will reach a limit probably around 8-10psi since the higher compression ration doesn't allow for a lot of boost.
As for the spark plugs you can use the stockers if you want... i recommend the next colder as that is what i'd use!

Thats cool though. Because if I do go turbo then that would probably be the most amount of boost I would run anyways. Atleast at first
So if I decided to run more boost than that then I would just get the stock compression pistons. Thanks.
Notice any difference yet? Just as far as the break in period goes? Like.. idle, low end power, cruising. Is it running nice and smooth? I know you probably don't want to "get on it" really aggressive yet, but just give us an idea of how they compare to stock pistons as of so far.
^ Like I said I will post a FULL review. I have to get all my stuff together. Everything seems like it was before. I'm not going over 3k rpm just to be safe = can't say much yet.
I had
* pistons swapped for N/A high compression $700.00
* head gasket $60.00
* head bolts $60.00 (15 bolts, you need only 12 but they brake easily)
* timing belt $50.00
* antifreeze (haha)
* 10w-40w regular oil ($8.00)
* oil filter (dahhh)
* spark plugs
* labor ($500.00 - still pretty good deal)
I know I should have done a water pump but none of the stores had them in stock. It's not leaking or anything so I am not worried about it. When it will be time for a new camshaft I will get the water pump as well.
LIKE I SAID BEFORE I WILL POST A FULL REVIEW "ASAP"

you shouldn't need to do the water pump... it's a good gear pump... in fact that shouldn't even be touched doing a piston or cam install. Just leave it as is and all should be fine for 100+k miles easy.
