Good to hear, Greg!

I'm thinking about DIYing the install with a buddy. Could be fun.

It only takes about 4 hours to take everything apart. I'm really happy with the pistons altough it needs to be tuned ASAP!!! It seems like there is so much more power available but it's limited by our fuel map.
Soon I will throw it on a dyno with Emanage, but first Clutch ..........

Greg... thanks for the props. It was no trouble at all and i'm glad you've got it under control and feeling the benefits. I felt some of those spots you're talking about as well. Just seemed like the car stopped picking up speed. At the time all i had on the car was an axleback and an AEM. I made the aem into a short ram and all was well.

I think if you have more supporting mods like you do... ie header/catback/intake/etc. The car needs monster fuel to support the air and higher compression. Get her tuned on the emanage and let us know what you result in. Also post your exact mods so people can see what you have now.

I think you're on the way to the fastest NA lancer title for sure now!

Boe - would a fuel injector upgrade be needed? What CC would you recommend?

Am I running lean?

FPR is set at 44psi. 4 spark plugs go as follows cylinder 1 ,2 ,3 ,4

Also can someone point out where are valve lash adjusters? Do I need to take out the two rails and rockers to get to them?

The plugs could reflect previous lean condition since I have changed couple of things lately (not the plugs). How do you clean the plugs anyway?

Shouldn't need to upgrade injectors...

Plug ends look fine... worried about the browning on the two plugs... shows excessive heat. Try putting in some brand new ones and running for a couple days. Then pull those and repost.

Don't modify anything in that time. That way we can see things based off your baseline and symptoms.

Good idea Boe. Try raising pressure as we discussed.

^ I already did. I was running on 38psi FPR and now I'm maxed out on 44psi (at idle).

I'm getting really annoyed!!!

I took off the valve cover, rocker arms and two rails. My valve lash adjusters were really hard, almost unable to push them down. I could twist them but that's about it.
I reinstalled everything and my car is still making a sound like a tractor!

The only thing to make it quite is Valve Medic by Gunk, liquid you put into the crank case to silence noisy valves. It works for only a minute or two and then clonk clonk clonk.
