This kit was designed to upgrade the Mirage / Australian CE Lancer to the EVO brakes. If someone was interested enough to want a set then I would double check on the new lancers hitting Australia right now but yes short of maybe a minor modification the kit will go across to the new lancers that are now found in both Australia and USA. The only difference woudl be teh adapter plate that goes between the EVO Rotor and the Mirage / Lancer hub assembly which may need to be modified.

Got bored. Emailed Unorthodox about a cam gear, pulley set and a clutch and here's what they had to say:

To make a pulley or pulley set would require 30 pre-order. To make a set of cam gears would require pre-orders for 50 pairs for the Ultra Tr version or 100 pairs for the Ts version. A flywheel would require 20 pre-orders. Clutches can be made at anytime and do not require pre-orders.

Thanks for your interest,
UR

The pulley set and cam gear requests aren't thaaaaat bad and the clutch info is good to hear. Just some more random info from yours truly.

Or you could go to a popular search engine or two and do a search for the company name.

Anybody want to get into contact with either Bilstein or H&R for me (save a super mod on his cell bill) for suspension tidbits?

Bilstein - Looking specifically into their BTS and PSS suspension systems since they seem to be affordable and hopefully not as high zoot as the the Tein and JIC setups.

H&R - Definintely interested in their badass Cup Kit setups. Rate matched springs and struts. Very cool.

For those who may be interested...
I emailed GReddy about their new Airinx CAI and they said that they didn't have one for us and didn't plan on making one. (superstreet said they only had it for a couple of Honda's- worth a try)
Is this something we should try to pressure them about? Will GReddy have potentially more gain than AEM or Injen? Let the speculation begin!!
I asked about dyno results in the same email and got no response.

Just got off the phone with H&R:
They have the sport springs- MSRP $290
They have the Cup kit in the works but I couldn't get a date or price from the young lady that answered the phone. But we know more now than we did then... uh, yeah...

Hey good enough...gotta love that Cup Kit. As for Greddy, I'm losin' faith in them. Been dangling various carrots in front of us for a while and that gets annoying.

Where could those springs be purchased through, sitewise? Is $290 the official site pricing or would that be off of another site marked down?

Thanks.

2002 MITSUBISHI Lancer AUTO 2.0L L4 F/I 69-6540TS Typhoon Kit All

K&N Typhoon kits! Blue, Polish, Red and what I'm assuming is silver. Another intake option for y'all!!! So new I can't even find a price on them yet. Keep in mind this product is different than the other K&N device which is a Filtercharger kit that fit the NA 3000GT/Stealth and Mirages, which is simply an MAS adaptor and an oval tapered filter. This new thing is new with mandrel bent piping etc.

Anyone want to email HP Racin (info@hpracing.com) to ask about a new exhaust manifold? Here's some text if you're super lazy. I emailed 'em about a week and a half ago but no response. Let's try and convince 'em I'm not the only Lan-econobox enthusiast out there.

HP already produces a 1.8L Mirage exhaust manifold and the new 2.0L Lancer engine uses the same engine block (4G9X). I'd be curious to know if HP would be interested in modifying the manifold to perhaps fit the Lancer's engine? It's known that lengthening the exhaust runners to accomodate the 2.0's deeper sump and taller deck height is the only modification needed. Also, any other aftermarket support in the way of an intake, true catback exhaust or any other mods would be greatly appreciated.
