well out of the 3 i know of, my auto, my friends auto, and our friends manual, they all hang...
my idle is either ~500 or ~1000... and the car in upper rpm range likes to stick around for a few seconds before dropping (after gas is disengaged)... fun for when driving around turns on empty roads to have the power right there, but sux for while driving in traffic.

recall doesn't mean warrenty... recall is to save mitsu's ***... have you herd of 5 year old cars/trucks being recalled... its so that the owner doesn't get hurt and so that the manufacturer doesn't lose any more lawsuits..

Could we maybe get a video of this so when it possibly happens to one of us we know what you are talking about?

oh you'll know, ok this isnt hard. you press on the gas, the rpms are rising, you let off the gas to coast, and for about a second or 2 after letting off the gas the rpms continue to rise as if you were still on the gas. trust me, its not hard to tell that its happening, makes you go "what the f---?"

well its not really dangerous cause if your slowing down, just hit the brakes and its not a problem, just if you go to coast, it takes a second.
