Stock piping diameter is mostly 1.75" . . . some areas vary (like the crushed part of the stock downpipe), but it's pretty much all 1.75".
MitsuOZ - no, you can buy just a 2.5" muffer and have it installed or you can buy just an axleback exhaust and install that (see first post of this thread if you don't know what that means).

- gains HP
- sounds deep
- is cheap
In short, the perfect God-like muffler.
That does not exist.
First off, no muffler will really make HP. You might see a small change on the dyno graph here and there, but it's going to be like 1hp (unless the muffler is the only stock part you haven't changed yet).
Second, sound is subjective. What I love you might call rice. I always liked the RRM axleback for sound. Or the GReddy catback, but that's WAY pricey.
My best advice to you - buy the RRM axleback. If you don't like it, remember that I warned you.

Again, the question is open ended, we have no idea what you think is deep but not too deep. Some people like the Apexi N1 sound, others hate it, some like the greddy sound, others hate it, it's all a matter of opinion and realistically the only way to figure it out is to hear them all in person (Youtube sound clips are useless). A test pipe is a bad idea on an NA car, it won't make power, the car will be insanely loud and it'll spell horrible.
You don't seem to be understanding my point. It's equivalent of asking someone "what color shirt should I get?", you'll get a suggestion for every color in the rainbow but in the end only you can decide. I like the way greddy sounds, but I have no idea if you will too.
If you want a Magniflow sound **not really sure what you mean, but i'll go with it**, go to a muffler shop and see if they have any magniflow mufflers and/or resonators, then see if they'll get you your piping for cheap, but i'm almost positive you wont get a catback for 100 bux.
