NEX are a really good option. EvoM owners have been very happy, I haven't seen a single complaint.

I had Tein Super Street coilovers on my Lancer (I sold it about 15 months ago, so there were less options 2 years ago when I got them). I was really happy with them.

I believe I have the NEX GT's, but I can't remember and it's late or I would check. But I've had them on for just slightly over a year and I love them. The car has kept it's alignment and I haven't had a single issue to date. I want to raise the rear a slight bit but otherwise I'm very pleased with the ride.

When reading this thread I'm reminded of the journey that I've been on since comming to this board over three years ago. In that time I've learned a lot and meet some really cool people. This thread reminds me that the most important thing to moding a car is that you follow a plan. Don't be stupid and waste your money on things that take you off your plan.

I recently found a 2002 Lancer ES for my girlfriend and I got to drive it the other day... And even though it might not seem I've done much to my car the differences are night and day. There is a huge difference between stock and modded. The Lancer modded is so far from it's mudane econobox roots. I can't wait to do more!

ok people, they're not breaks, 'brakes' is the correct spelling, and down where your feet go are pedals, not 'peddles'

Ok the idea of the 94 as a **** NA motor is a complete load of BS.
all of the mods you have listed are just bolt on crap that won't do **** your right but has anyone tried doing a MIVEC head swap. the 4g92 MIVEC will fit on the 94 (they have done it on a 93) so changing that and getting a timing belt from a 94 GDI, plus with tuning, camshafts, larger TB hell even quads you can get some decent power out of the 94 so quit being so detramental and look at some major mods instead of the cheap stuff.

End of Rant

K-Sport - no, I don't know. The vendor is one of those annoying "PM me for prices!" guys.

NEX - get the more expensive (I forget which is which). It's really nice to have the dampening adjustment.

Tein - get the Super Street. Again, it's nice to have coilovers that are adjustable rather than ones stuck on one mild setting. For instance, the SS have 16 adjustment settings. The Basic is set at SS's 8. So that means you can't go any softer if you have the GF in the car or stiffer if you're racing. That's why I love the Super Street. I could adjust them whenever I wanted.

From what I can tell it's dead easy to adjust dampening, you just have to turn a knob on top of the strut. Dampening is just how soft or how stiff the strut is (basically).

I have the BASIC's and they're nice... A bit stiff but what coilovers aren't? IF I had the SS w/ the 16 way adjustability, I'd say, you can make the ride a bit more comfortable, especially when flat roads are at a decrease. ( cough cough, NYC)

What he said - the stiffness. Basically, it's how fast the shock moves after a bump. The stiffer the setting, the shock moves very quickly to get you back to traction. The softer, the shock moves slower allowing the spring to bounce you a bit (comfier ride).

Change the setting - knob on top. Turn one way to stiffen, one way to soften. It clicks to tell you where you are.

I must say this thread was ridiculously halarious and informative at the same time. In all honestly though If you wanted a car to seriously own someones *ss in (e.g not to pick on little scions) 1/4 run then you picked the wrong car. The lancer es ls oz and ralliart just isnt the car for this application. For those of you that put the EVO in the same cat. as the other lancers need to seriously do some research and I mean not just what you read in this forum. The EVO is a sleeping dragon ready to be awaken - circuit, drag, drift, and rally whateva da race. And yes I know someone will say I need to shut up cuz Im a noob, I dont know what im talking about, look at my rating and post count so keep quite but guess what the reason that my rating an post count is so low is because I read and search for things that I want to know about and dont waste time reposting the same crap ova and ova again like so many retards here that have like 1000 post for the same crap.
