Ok, so it wasn't the fuel pump. We have done a compression check and an ignition check. We checked the timing. Somehow, don't know what happend, but the timing is way off. Now its weird cause we though we had it set right from the get go and the car did start. We must have bumped the cam gear when we were putting it all back together. We are going to redo the timing tomorrow. Crossing my fingers.

I'm sure this was mentioned already, but are you planning on getting an aftermarket cam gear?

I don't know about the cam gear. I haven't done any research on cam gear compatibility with the RRM stage 2.
If anybody from RoadRace reads this how about letting us know please, thanks.

It'll work fine. There's no compatability issue - the aftermarket cam gears just make adjustment easier. They're just like stock for all intents and purposes.

^^^Bout time. Looking good! The cam gear (Fidanza) will help with the retarding of the timing when you increase the boost. Also will come in handy if/when you get the cam. About the hard starts and all... fix that timing, retorque the head studs, replace aftermarket wires with stock, and see what happens...

Yeah the cam gear from rrm is a drop in part. no tuning required (unless you want more power from it) made for the N/A, turbo, and supercharged lancers. But i think they said you'll get a much better gain after turbo.

Well, my Dad and I have not gotten anywhere with the car. We tried to reset the timing, but it didn't help a bit. We are doing something wrong and we don't want to screw the car up anymore. Its going to a shop to be fixed. This really sucks

They came recommended from a honda buddy of mine. And as long as they can get it running, I'll worry about the tuning part.

Ok so the recommended shop was a bust. The idiot who runs that place tried to tell me that it would cost 10k just to fix my car. We told him to just give us the car back. He tried to say "From experience I know that you have bent the rods and I am going to have to setup your car for all of your modifications...blahblahblah...I was like "your going to have to setup my car...? My car is already setup for my modifications. I just need you to find out if anythings wrong with it and set the timing!"
My Dad ended up removing the head himself and found the intake valve stems bent. We will take it back to the head shop and hopefully take the car to have the timing set correctly. It kinda sucks but at least I'm back on track to having my car back, I really miss it. Although my Mom's 04 Maxima that she loaned me is pretty sweet. Its gets much love from the ladies har har har
