My car is already setup for my modifications. I just need you to find out if anythings wrong with it and set the timing!"
My Dad ended up removing the head himself and found the intake valve stems bent. We will take it back to the head shop and hopefully take the car to have the timing set correctly. It kinda sucks but at least I'm back on track to having my car back, I really miss it. Although my Mom's 04 Maxima that she loaned me is pretty sweet. Its gets much love from the ladies har har har
Yep, they didn't have a clue... It sounded like bent valves caused by incorrect timing. Sorry to hear it; but it could have been worse I guess. Make sure the head didn't warp and that it does need milling. Hell, mill it anyway and up the compression. LOL.

Well actually the bent valves were caused by the incorrect timing. We had the head taken to a shop prior to reinstalling it and they checked it out fine. After getting everything back together my Dad did another compression test and the whole thing is checking out good now. So just a few more days and I get to start tearing up the streets again. HA LOOK OUT!!!!

I might have to pull a few strings with the folks to let me borrow their camera. After I break it in and hopefully have a dyno tune I want to take it to a track. I would like to document the dyno and the track day.

Alright, I have my car back and have been driving it around for about a week now. I just love the relearn phase of the piggy back. At first I was like WTF? Then memory came to me when I first installed the PB. Its starting to settle down now. I guess having the battery disconnected for so long must have just dumped almost everything from the ECU, that and my lower compression pistons.
There is a bit of clacking going on, its gotten a lot quieter since I started driving it around. I'm pretty sure its the lash adjusters, it gets quieter everyday.
As far as differences I have already noticed, mind you I've not driven it very hard yet, the exhaust sounds way different and it seems there is more pull at part throttle. I'm liking it so far. I have to change the oil this weekend and mess with a few other things. Mainly cleaning up the engine bay.
Later, I'll show pics of my bent valves as well as the tick mark on the head you need to look for if your going to do your own timing. Aight peace

Probably Crower... There is a guy on here that is selling some (4G94) for $700 if you're in need.
