WTF? Did you run over a blind kid? Your insurance is crazy.

Nope not a part of dcevo yet. I was probably going to wait until this summer or after I graduate so I could be around more often. There are some unbelievable riced cars in our area. Forunately most lancer owners I have seen have kept their cars pretty respectable

I picked up my 5speed for 13,000 with only a few thousand miles on it at a carmax in a dc suburb in maryland, which makes the price of my car a miracle. since these depreciate so fast, as long as you keep it for a while you are getting an insane bargain

You should definitely try shopping for new insurance and see if you can get better quotes!

yeh i have done. gieco quoted my 275/mo but with a bigger downpayment, so i just went with progressive. Im just gonna renew with them for now, because i cant afford a downpayment with someone else.
although im planning on getting married by next summer, so my rates will drop a whole bunch then.

That's still retarded. I would find out what insuerer your parents use, espically find out if they have a rep they know by name. Then go to them and ask if they want your business. If you happen to live at home you might qualify for a discount for living at the same place with others that share the same insurence company... good grades and an alarm also help.

My girlfriend paid 202.00 today for one month and deposit, and will pay about 93.00 bucks a month. She is using state farm, but has good grades and her parents are with the same company.

I personally pay about 124.00 because God gave me ***** instead of a vagina. If I were you I'd find out also if you are paying for a base lancer and not an Evo... I know their insurence is mad crazy. And if you have been paying for a Lancer by some crazy screw up see if they can't credit you back... that's insane.

Update on my girls ride:

The car is paid for as of 12:30pm eastern time and she is now the proud owner of a 2002 Lancer ES! She is very excited as this is her very first car. I'm very proud of her because this last year she has managed to work a full time job, attend school full time, pay down much of her debt, get this car, and all while getting a 3.0 average! She deserves good things and I'm a lucky guy for having her.

I'd like to thank N1te for showing me the ad for the car. I hope to take some pics of her car and my car this weekend weather permiting, after some detailing of her's and mine.
