thats easy, just don't make the damn thing stainless steel. a good muffler is about $250, then a custom pipe from a muffler shop for around $100. Saves on shipping as well.

As far as the header/exhaust items, I will have to talk to my bud to see if they have a mandrel bender... If not, Ill have to check around and try to get with a local shop...

easier to get a custom one made at an exhaust shop. I picked up a greddy muffler for $80 (thanks RRM! ) and piping was only $70. So my custom 2.25" cat back with Greddy muffler was only $150

the people have spoken...maybe you should make this

That's what I meant. A direct replacement for N/A guys. Sorry about the confusion.

I haven't been able to find anyone that sells them. If you can find the flange for a 4g93 (5th gen Mirage) then it will work for us as well. Otherwise you'll have to look into getting some made. I've actually considered getting some laser cut.

so the 4g63 will match up... gotcha, have found plenty of those...

And about the downpipe... Once I get the ball rolling on the rear brake kit, Ill look at the downpipe...

And some FYI, ordered a damper from Ingalls, and should be able to fabricate brackets for it within the next week or so, will keep you posted...

No he said 4g93(mirage). The 4g63 is the evo.

I like the engine damper idea.

Good catch... Could have sucked ordering some 63 flanges...

And I think the dampers are going to come out great...

Any ideas of your own...

Well not at the moment.

Hey wouldnt a downpipe that replaced the stock one also match up to the rrm turbos? maybe you could add one of those flex pipes in there.

The projector headlight would be great also.

Pretty sure it won't... I think one comes with their kit... Actually pretty sure one does... With their turbo, it's mounted to the header, hence making the downpipe mount locations different, seeing as they come off the outlet of the turbo... I could be wrong though...

Well made some great progress tonight... Who knows maybe this is something I can start in the summer doing full time... Plus means I can get a lot of cool tools!!!... IE Mandrel Benders, Welders, etc, etc...

Anyways keep the ideas coming...

We can call the damper done... Just time now getting it in and fabbing two brackets, no biggy...

RPW wasn't much help with the brake kit, they order it from someone else...

Intake/Interfooler - Should be pretty easy for manual, but gonna have to look at the auto, as well as mounting points...

Header will be some work, but the downpipe/cat/exhaust won't be too bad... And that is with all need o2 bungs and all... And if wanted EGT sensor bung also... Was thinking of adding a greddy resonator and canister but will look at other options...

Off to bed now... Working on this stuff has really rejuvinated my love for my car... Let's keep the good ideas coming... Later!!!

ha ha... he said RICE-Tastic! lmao...

Why in the world would you want to fake jacks that you have a turbo w/ an interfooler? You're only gonna fool yourself.
