Help me decide.......

I didn't listen to the people on this site and decided to put the PROGRESS SPRINGS to lower my car. It has been about 4 and half months and i am really tired of how the car is too low and handles like crap. There was no improvement in handeling at all and i just cant deal with going slow over the bumps and now fitting more than 2 passangers in the back so i am planning to put the OEM springs back on.

My question is that would it be worth it to put the OEM springs back on?? My only goal is to put the car back to stock height and hope the shocks/strusts are still ok since it has been only 4 and half months !!!

PS: My advice to other people is to invest money and buy nice set of coilovers. It is just not worth putting springs to lower the car and blowing struts. Dont make the same mistake that i made!!!

I think the struts should still be fine. I did the same thing to a different car and after 3 months the struts were fine after being raised to stock hieght.

I think they'll work on an OZ but not on an ES.

Did you get an alignment after you did the install. That might explain the crappy handling. As for going back to stock... Go back to stock and save up for a coilover setup. I'm glad I did. And you should always go slow over speed bumps... that's what they are for.

put the stock springs back on and get an alignment... hopefully you will not have blown the stock struts. if the car is riding REALLY crappy check the torque on your lugnuts as well--hopefully this will all do the trick.

and damn, i really wanted to sell those springs, too. i just got $313 worth of new tires.

as far as allignment goes, it is fine. Car doesnt pull left or right....it goes pretty much straight. I have done alignment twice within last 4 months since i have a life time alignment. I will try to tighten the lugnuts tomorrow and see if that makes any difference.
