what could be the matter with it, $200 seems like a good price for one of the best detectors

^^dude, $70 cobra detectors are garbage on the highway (and sort of in the city). How would I know? I used to sell them, a friend HAD one, my cop friends tell me that. As for the purpose of this thread, the listing looks like a lot of good functions, but I am not familiar with this model..... sorry

the 'solo 2' is what has kept my buddy ticket free for years, but that little thing is like 300 at cost and retails up to almost 500

 

I have the passport 8500 i have been running it for 4 years now and have 1 gotten 1 ticket, but that was my fault for dismissing the signal as a random one i normall y pickup in the same area. My next RD will be a V1.

i have the exact detector and i payed over 300 for it. well worth it. i got it spacial ordered from a shop because i did a lot of research and decided that the rx65 was the best in my opinion. i like it better than my old V1. go for it bro. that is a good price. u will not be disappointed. the auto feature is amazing. virtually gets rid of false signals.

 

That looks like it has all the same functions my $70 cobra from best buy has and mine sucks ***. I just keep to make myself feel secure but it never listen to it. It beeps if I drive past walmarts motion sensor doors. radar detectors really are just a security blanket for people. I know a few people who have the $300 ones and still don't see cops.
