cool. good to hear. Do far I dont like the size of them. When I see one with some wheels and a drop ill be able to make a better decision. Engine seems promissing.

there only ditching the name wrx. i think i posted on another topic but they will still have a 220hp turbo awd sedan and wagon. they are just changing the name of the wrx and instead of impreza wrx it will be impreza GT.

Example which is going on currently.

Subaru Legacy: NA vehicle
Subaru Legacy GT: Turbo charged vehicle
Subaru Impreza: NA vehcile
Subaru Impreza GT: Will be the renamed WRX
Subaru Impreza STI: you know what this is.

thats what some of the less paranoid and more intelligent people are saying on subie forums.

Yes. I think you are right. WRX is here to stay but I think I would go with new line up of Lancer before I would roll in a SCUBY DO.

Prices are supposed to be comparable to the last gen of Lancers. Around $15-18K depending on trim. No idea about Ralliart pricing yet, but my guess would be mid-20's

srt-4 with 220hp runs 14seconds while the 150hp lancer runs 15's

The new Lancer will probably be more reliable than a SRT-4.

PRicing should be similar to the old one except for maybe the GTS with NAVI and Paddle Shifting etc....

One inaccuracy I noticed in the article:
Right away, we noticed the new rear sway bar was added to help stabilize body roll, previously only offered on the Evolution.
Both the OZ and the Ralliart came with rear sways.

Great article, though, and thanks a ton for the pictures. Glad to see they got their act together on the cupholders. I'm also eager to see someone dive into that dash and see what's really involved in replacing that head unit, other than needed a custom trim piece.

As for aftermarket exhaust, the best option would be to put an angled style exhaust on there. Would fit quite easily, it's just too bad the gas tank is in the way and causes those two small bends before and after the resonator. If you didn't want an angled exhaust, two 45* bends would get the pipe where you need it.

i just figured it out about the exhasut.... its simple. just like the evo X its dual exhaust. just right before the gas tank just get to axelback going from that point. you would most likley have to seal off the hole going through the tank or something, maybe. lol.

but overall i think any aftermarket HAS to be dual exhaust.

dude otter i got a story for you. i know a friend who just bought a srt with about 1000 miles on it, and raced another friend of mine in a boosted intergra. ( this was at the track by the way ) anyway the srt had mopar stage 2 and clearly had more hp, but he ended up losing because his shift knob fell off. just proves your point about the srt-4 being so crappy lol.

grr i just realized i could have just put one post instead of two. mods can you please delete the above post and put it on this post

Well the gas tank is in the mid section of the car (safety regulations). I suppose you could just unbolt the "muffler" and tailpipe and put in an angled axle back like otter said. It looks like you could save 20+ lbs by dropping that massive muffler.
