I think cvt will be exciting at first since its new to the lancers but to me it probably would get boring after a while and i would want a manual lol but i guess depends on the person

Also, if you get an 08, dont get CVT, manual is the way to go

yea manual is better if your wanting a race car but i just like to cruise. and my system is too loud to hear the rpm usually.

I keep reading all these people with CVT complaining about the "bogging down" effect they get. Doesnt sound like a fun problem.

When I worked for Enterprise Rent a Car we had a lot of cars with the shiftronic type setups and they all were weak compared to a manual counterpart. If someone is really looking to be shifting the car on their own, manual is the only way to go in my opinion.

never notice anything bogging in mine lol shifting is annoying i guess i like cvt more cause it kinda reminds me of when im piloting an aircraft.

2002 ES Auto 156600 miles. I just bought it from a buddy at work. We drive 150 miles a day. He bought it with 30000 miles and never had any problems. Just did the normal maint regularly . I just changed all the belts, plugs, coil packs, wires, oil and transmission oil....
