Well, if this thread is turning into a Lancer wishlist... I REALLY wish they would do something to upgrade the climate control knobs. Those things are horrendously cheap-feeling. The knobs are loose, the plastic feels super thin/brittle, and you can feel the plastic-on-plastic friction when you turn them. I know it's just an econobox with a lot of extra bells and whistles but all the other interior bits appear to be of a higher standard (at least the ones you frequently touch).

The paddle shifters should be steering wheel mounted for one. Do it right Mitsu!

i'm no expert at speculating these thigns but i think the RA's production and design will be more stable unlike the 08 vs 09 GTS just cus if we do get the 4 door version then its pretty much a GTS with an upgraded motor and interior. i tink it will be easier for them to keep focus on the engine itself since the body, suspension, etc won't be too much different than the GTS. yes it is a totally redesigned car compared to the older RAs but not if u compare it to the GTS. and if it is just a detuned less powerful evo then this extra few months that mitsu has before releasing anything about the RA they can use this time to correct things that they didn't focus much on the GTS of the EVO since the RA will be falling in between the two.

your forgetting that the time to tinker is pretty much over they are about to start production in another few months if not now. the time line for cars is a long process. The decisions is already made, they are staying tight lipped though

i agree. btw watching the spy videos of the anticipated RA it actually looks pretty decent without a spoiler on there.

OT: i noticed that the style of rims the lancer GTS has it seems to be pretty common with a few other new cars. i mean its not an exact match but similar to the ones i saw on the new lexus is250/350, nissan 350z, and also just saw a range rover yesterday with similar looking rims.
