I went to Canada about a month ago I got 37mpg on the way up. I filled up before the border. I sat in the line for about 45 minutes, got through cruised around for a day and came back through the border I had to sit for another 30-45 minutes to get out. I filled up south of Seattle and got 25.xxx mpg. I was ceuisin about 70-80 when I was up to speed. I hope this help you out.

Yeah our fuel guages seem to be a little tricky. I am usually at about 200 miles at half tank, then about 300 miles when the low fuel light comes on.

wow, i remember this thread. for some reason i didn't get subscribed to it when i posted like on the first page.

here's my gauge from full tank. If the needle is aligned with the top line of the meter (b/c when you fill up it goes above the line) then you should have travelled 50 miles. at the 3/4 you should be at 110, 1/2 -> 220, 1/4 ~ 310-330, bottom line -> 380-400. i get about 380 mile to the tank at about 11.5 gallons which is about 33 mpg. i always gun it at the light after skool cuz i wanna go home, up to about 70 mph(my skool is off the highway) 5 days a week so on average i do lose a lot of fuel economy from it. i also like to drive with my windows down, too.

i have done 400+ miles on a tank. i kinda think getting the cai affected my mileage too, but no too sure cuz i'm an idiot and have been doing all kinds of weird **** to my MAS. but currently, haven't been able to get better than 380 to the tank since about the switch to the cai.

i looked into a road and track mag the other day and noticed that most cars don't do better than 26 mpg. the hybrids(T prius/ H hybrid), the rsx (can't remember type-s or not), civic si, and NA Mini are the only cars on the list to get better fuel economy than the 26mpg mark(that i can remember).

Hey, you must be doing something right, because I'm getting about 28-29 mpg with an SRI and reflashed ECU. Probably doesn't help that my current commute is almost half city driving, but I'm still considerably less than you.

And hey, are you gonna make it down to any SCLC mets next year? Your presence is always welcome!

I have a 2002 OZ, I would get around 300 on a tank in city driving, and around 400 on highway. I added a ebay SRI and I get 320 city and 450 highway.

I keep seeing you guys talk about two cats on your cars, maybe that is a west coast deal with CAs messed up emmissions requirements, but I only have on cat on my car.

You have two. Trust me. It's there. There's the obvious one and then there's one further up near the exhaust manifold.

Mine's been all around depending on conditions (37 as a person best). Lately it's been holding steady at 31 or 32.

Sinc i've begun to drive "nicer" I've gotten batter gas mileage. I use to get anywhere from 170-220 and now I'm at 270-290. Most of the time i have 100 with only 1/4 of the tank spent.

Wink Fuel Consumption

Sup Guys,

Have you people ever tested your car fuel consumption ?

Lets not talk about in winter, just in normal weather and driving condition.

I've tested my car with filled up tank + K&N filter = 289 KM (not 100% sure, but its around there) That would roughly equals 180 Miles

mine is ALWAYS 240 miles to a full tank, usually around 24 miles per gallon. It has never dramatically changed..no matter how i drive or the season. weirdness.
