All i know is that my mpg went down after test pipe and headers..

fkrzo trying running an open exhaust and see what you get, i get around 175-200 depending on how much i use heat and what not. I dont think this is that bad, but once you get mods you can tell me how your car performans and mpg you get

RRM header, test pipe, RMR axleback. I'd say thats pretty open. If your CEL is on you will get bad milage (closed loop). If I drive easy, I get 280, hard, 260.

sorry, i didnt click the right name, when i looked at yourprofile last. thats my bad.

Im not sure why your getting hat much better gas mileage..

i have 2.25" piping test pipe header + DP and no CEL anymore and still pretty bad, but im going to keep tracking it, right now its at 51 and just at the 3/4 mark ** 3/4 full**

actually the best my gas mileage has done since Decemeber, so maybe smoeting new has happened.

i get about 220-230 when my low fuel light comes on.

i drove like my grandma on a tank of gas and it didnt come on til 260

i figured i'd sepdn the extra few $ to drive how i want to!

one time when i would race around everywhere and stuff i only got 210...so im at 220-230 most of the time.

once i get some mods we'll see though, this summer im gonna start boosting, YAY!

Manual is supposed to get better gas mileage, but most people with manual don't shift at the shift points suggested by the manufacturer. Those shift points are what's used to calculate the gas mileage.

Another thing people forget is that altitude has a lot to do with the gas mileage. Someone in Denver, Colorado will get worse 1/4 miles times and worse gas mileage thanks to the high altitude. I know, I used to live there and the high altitude screws everything up. It does seem like there is a lot of variation in the mileage reported though, when there shouldn't be. I get 28 mpg usually. When I do all highway I get the reported 33 mpg. When I do all city I get about 26 mpg. Mixed driving, which is what I usually do, I get 28 mpg. I only have an axle-back too. The CAI is going on very soon, so we'll see what change that will make.

I get about 200 before the gas light comes on. I've driven it to 240 with the gas light on and it still hasn't run out. The light must come on after you've only used 10 gallons.

Miles per gallon

all i know is i filled up my tank in temecula california, drove all the way to bakersfeild. Still at a half a tank when i got there. By The time i left i was a little under half a tank and drove all the way back to lake elsinore cali to where the elsinore outlet center is and finally had to re fill my tank cause the dummy light was on. Well bottom line is 401 miles to one full tank. That is the best mpg i have ever gotten. Just thought i would share since the best previous had been about 320.

I have a 2003 OZ, with SRI as my only internal mod. I get about 400 miles to the tank highway driving on Sunoco Plus. Around town I usually get around 300 miles to the tank.

I push an auto OZ 2002, removed a cat converter, installed aluminum test pipe, and racing exhaust.
I get 300-315 miles on a full tank...highway and stop and go.

if you can stay under 20% throttle, then after 11 gallons...
