Lancer Miles Per Gallon [MERGED]
i've checked it, US and Canadian models have the same tanks,
50 liters = 13.2 gal.
More or less depends on your transmission.
For Autos, OZ uses less fuel than ES and LS by 0.1
For Manual, OZ uses more fuel than ES by 0.3
OZ A/T 9.3L/100 KM
OZ M/T 8.6/100 KM
Based on the OZ A/T data sheet at Mits. website:
If 9.3 L can go up to 100 km then one tank should be able to go up to 537.6344 km but in fact, my car can go up to only 289 km

This is kind of OT but belongs here.
I used to get horrible gas mileage ** with test pipe and open exhaust ** but now with the 93 octane gas i went from FILL to not even the 3/4 mark and already at 40 miles and still have floored it quit a bit, pretty good.

****ty..i get about 190-200 miles from full to the 1/4tank marker. every once in a while i get 240 or even 260. all my miles are city driven.. i rarely drive on highways longer than a mile..kinda crappy fuel economy
Call me a nerd, but I've tracked my mileage tank-by-tank since the day I bought my car last January. I usually get anywhere from 21-24 miles per gallon. This is regardless of how much highway driving I do (or don't do). But I can safely say I have never driven a full tank of gas entirely on the highway, so I've never tracked the other extreme.
And since you asked, yes I did track where I bought the gas from.

I think i am running around 300ish to a tank...but mine varies all the time due to most a mixture of highway and city but overall it does great. i made it to ft.lauderdale from charlotte on almost 3 tanks but then i was speeding too so that didnt help... so on average i have to say for a tank of gas it lasts for about 275 miles
I was looking, and it seemed that lot of you guys who get the 250mpg dont really ahve any mods, im not talking intake or exhaust, im taking like some hard core mods.
Try getting a 2.25" OPEN EXHAUST and see what you run then, guranteed wont be a 250mpg maybe 175 if your lucky and dont touch the gas.

Don't you know that bolt-on breathing parts increase your milage. The problem with it is that you will tend to speed alot more often and try to hear the "cool" sounds of intakes and exhausts, which in turn kills your milage.
I never floor it hardly ever, because my car is soo damn and obnoxiously loud! i dont wanna get a ticket for that ****.
But, in the end, i dont get that great of gas mileage.
read up on theese forums, there are people who talk about mods killing you gas mileage.

Not to sound like a D**K, butt read all you want. Fact is that you let it breath easier, you will get better milage, espescially when you have an ECU that won't add fuel to accomodate a little extra air.
i get from 200-220 on a full tank, and this is NOT flooring it, i have a turbo, but i havent boosted on it at all in the past 2 weeks, i dont know how you guys get such good mileage :\
