MLR closed their website
Hi guys,
Ihave found my way here too (rob VI). I notice on the news recently there has been a load of twoddle from friends reunited website with teachers being slagged off and not liking it. I think that they have introduced an anger button so that people can notify others of potentially dodgy stuff, this enables the moderators to act quicker if the forums are busy.....bet you this is related, seems a coincedense.
are you all still goin to Snetterton>?

I'm here too!
Now that MLR is down, it's good to know that there's somewhere we can all meet and while away those work hours
Lee,
Good to meet up again on Sunday. Enjoyed the Bolney bash immensely. Certainly some loud vehicles there
Sorry to hijack the thread, but Anybody else on here who attended the meet?

Sorry if I can't put names to cars. Goldfish memory I'm afraid
I was the first EVO to arrive so got blocked in at the bottom of the car park. I did meet up with most of the Mimms crew, as I have travelled (quickly
) down with them before. Don't know about you, but I thought it was the most friendly meet that I had been to. Usually, the different car clubs just want to talk about their own marques, but I think I got to speak to a number of different owners. There was some serious metal on show, don't you think?
I'm sure we'll meet again at another bash, so I'll keep my eye out for you and introduce myself.

blade/rob/geffers: hi you guys, sunday was the best un-organised meet yet, have not seen so many evo's since trax, cant wait for the next one......

i think you are making more of this than is necessary, i cant be bothered to take sides in this, but having spoken to darin i agree with his reasons, and he will make them clear to everyone when the smoke has cleared a bit.
blade is right, we can get freedom of speech anywhere, the mlr forum was there as a knowledge base and meeting point, we all know what thread caused the shut down and given the chance i think we would all agree it got out of hand
i for one will be heading back to the mlr as soon as it reopens for business (and staying signed up on here, can never get enough forums!!!!)

You were parked outside the car park on the pub side of the road? Or was there another black 7 there?
I was the (only?) Icelle Blue VI that was surrounded by SIDC members at the bottom exit to the car park.
I did notice a silver Ralliart 7 there, next to Simon's that was up for sale for £23500. Not sure how std it was (apart from him saying it had a titanium turbo), but he seemed to be more keen on an old scoob he had owned. First time I've heard it that way round!

Lee,
Did you take your car on the circuit at Trax? I've only just received the mini proof photos from the day today! Don't know wether that's coz I was running a track plate, or they are just a bit casual in wanting to get people to purchase them.

why are you pissed off (and i am sure that there arent that many "others" there are only about 6 people on this thread) it was a free service (and a good one at that), and now it has gone for a whole week, it is back saturday, and we can all go back to normal, as you can see from the later postings people are getting bored of the ranting already and would rather talk about cool meets (nice to meet you Ant glad the car is up to speed)
there was a better way of handling the situation, but as prooved buy the backlash (mainly from you) on this board, it would not of worked. what is your suggestion for handling the situation??
no secret about it, but he told me over phone, not on a public bullitin board, so unless he wants me to tell the world i wont (common decency that one).
only 5 days to go......****e i have got the jitters
