mate you are absolutely right i do not know about engines, so i pay people who do, i am no good a polishing either (daz?), but it doesnt take a car tuning genius to know what a no-nothing prat you are, and every time you reply you make yourself look even more so, but i can carry on all day......

moderator, i like the sound of that, very nice thank you....

all my love

No meaning to get a mouthfull, but do you want to take you "discussion" off on another thread, beacuse even with ADSL - it takes a long time to load this page already.

Cool

Hi all, well whats been going on then, just returned to UK and the MLR Register is closed.I have sympathy for Darin he is between a Rock and a Hardplace ,but I hope that the expected cencorship does not go to far.If someone comments on a bad experience they have had with a tuner and the content is totally accurate then it is not libel, but how does a moderator know if the comments are accurate or not?I personally cannot think of the answer .I do agree though that the register should not be dictated to by outside commercial interests but there needs to be a balance so the MLR can give its Members addittional benefits. How you find the balance would appear to be a very difficult task, but I for one am intent on supporting the register and my motivation is to attempt to make the Commitees job easier not more difficult. In times like this we need to pull together and support our club, those that dont wish to have the option of leaving!

Kind Regards Barry

afraid not mate, i have got work to do today and as i said before it would take more than you to **** me off

i dont set standards for others, they have thier own, but like me they are probably bored by you slagging off the place where you spent a lot of time, so it couldnt of been that bad (was it??)

i am talking to people whos opinion i respect by e-mail and phone, so dont expect to hear from me soon.

And sarcasm is the lowest form of humour Mr K (although often the funniest).

Its clear than yourself and some others are not happy with the MLR, its equally obvious the MLR has a number of people who do appreciate its efforts and understand the current problems with the forum.
Neither party will influence the other so why don't we all leave it at that and stop wasting the drive space on this server with petty Ego wranglings and point-scoring.

I know Tony, this thing between Lee and I didn't have anything to do with the MLR situation from my perspective. I just think it's wrong when people get personal for no reason and the "holier than thou" and "Do as I say" routine that he pulled off wasn't very classy. And I do enjoy a little slagging match
