MLR closed their website
having missed the post/thread my reaction and comments have been a direct reaction to the message that was put up, its that that has me worried the most, it certainly highlights a few things that seriously need to be addressed.
on the plus side I've taken the time out to look at this board which is tops, keep it up, I'll be coming back here regardless

Blade made a good point here about the MLR board being better moderated, I don't want to be critical but in the past 4 months I've only really seen 2 active moderators and only one of them, HH6, was regularly active until recently. I'm really unsure which of the other moderators have resigned as I've had little visibility of them being relatively new to the MLR (only 5 months now).
Maybe one or more of the very active senior members could become a moderator? I have someone in mind who is very technical and (as far as I can remember) sensible and objective (even when he doesn't agree)
just a thought

Only ralliart would have the financial resources to sue
All the other tuning companies are to small, and may threaten to,but after legal advice, they WOULD drop it........fact
At the end of the day,id rather know who is crap, however im told.
The guy telling you is doing you a favour,i.e. learn from my mistake.

I'm here too.
And before you ask, no it wasn't me - I've been in the forests testing Evo rally cars for Rally GB and not even my phone worked!
Seriously, when I last spoke to MLR at Donnington, before "that thread", they all said that one or two were ruining the board and that action was going to be taken.
Personally I have no problem with any of these posts - I can give as good as I get or I can always turn my computer off!
Long before joining Ralliart UK, I was a member of LTR with my E5 and then the RS450 and I always thought MLR did a good job unpaid. I'm paid to take some of the crap but taking it unpaid would soon loose its attraction!
It also needs to be said that MLR are not in Ralliart UK's pocket and neither are Power Engineering or RC Developments come to that. All these companies have an enthusiast core who actually like working with MLR and Evo owners!

Guess who else is here......
Lee,
Have you managed to fit your sunstrip yet or have you booked it into the garage to get it done. You can change the side repeaters while its in there eh Daz.....
Andy
P.S. Have to agree that the meet on Sunday was tremendous fun. THe convoy of a thousand cars from South Mimms and Clacketts was interesting to say the least. And Lee, when are you going to get the photos and video up on the site?

LeeLegend,
Nice also to meet you on Sunday, nice day I thought, food was pretty good, don't know about all that weird blue cheese that they put on the steaks though!
Saturday might be a nightmare on the MLR board though, their servers may overload with all the posts that will be anticipated

Mouton!!! Is it really you?!? This shutdown really seems to have done some good!! Look at what the forum has become since you left.... It certainly seems a lot more welcoming here.
Just chillin' with da illin...
