that sucks man. i see your point too. my buddy just got a defective bodykit from a company in california as well, and now he's trying to return it. they want HIM to pay for the shipping back, PLUS a 25% restocking fee! total B.S. that would suck if you had to pay shipping, customs, and a restock fee.

YES, I do, I have the ken style side skirts. How did it take way too long to get the kit from Josh? How long are you talking about? And if it didn't fit right, why did you go ahead and get it painted and installed. It doesn't make sense, sorry if I'm missing something.

Obviously you dont know how to read a post. Id love to see you fit the bumpers. Took over a month to ship when he told me the kit was already in the US. I had no choice but to put it on. Why would i pay to ship it back, pay restocking, pay customs back to sri lanka....doesnt make sense. Then pay custom and shipping again for the new kit.

not to take sides, but it's true that adjusting the hood might help this hood to fit (only since I know Claimer's limited experience with a wrench) but if the arc is not the same, it won't fit properly either way. But Claimer, try that, or come to our SCLC meet and we'll adjust it for you, before we decide if the hood is crap or not.

you have to use the holes, but they are made large enough to let you slide the hood around a little before tightening the bolts all the way.

shouldn't the company pay all expenses to ship it back in the case of a defective product? Also, if you bought it from a US company, then you should send it back to them, you shouldn't have to send it back to the factory. But as far as a BBB claim to the product not fitting, claiming that against a shop that sold it but didn't produce it might not hold very well, although a claim on the unacceptible shipping time would be a good case.

lol..i'm not trying to start an argument, i understand why you'd be upset. but i'm just saying how you got the kit test fitted and you went ahead and painted and installed it anyway. would it have been easier if you just complained to josh and let him take care of everything? you baught it from him so send it back to him and he's a distributor for accolade so he should've dealt with accolade, not you.

Hi Marc,

Do not try to drill new holes, but you can make the existing ones a bit bigger. But pls do remeber that you will need a Drill with a Large bore for this and also most import thing is to make it a bit bigger on the upper side of the hole only, I hope you get what i say, this is the last solution to that problem.

If my first solution does not work the secone one will definetly work Marc. Pls do try this and email me mark.

Regards

Accolade

If I were Josh @ Jive Motorsports I would be upset because you are ruining his name yelling out negative claims... that is unwarranted because you basically denied him the opportunity to correct the issue by choosing to install and paint and thus voiding the warranty.
He had numerous opportunities to correct this problem. Told me the kit was shipped when it wasnt. Told me atleast 3-4 times the kit was shipped when it wasnt. He ended up having someone else ship the kit cause he couldnt. I had no choice but to go to a top notch shop because 1. it is a family friend and 2. the kit needed extensive work. The kits are far from strong and the accesories are even worse. If their kits are truly the best out there I would not be making this rant.
