i think tein recommends 30 all the way around... i have my front set at 35 i believe and 30 in the rear... trying to balance the car until i can get it corner balanced

As sais above, Tein recommends 30mm of thread to be showing, but I found that to be way too low on a Lancer with a stock weight. I recommend doing what I did, get a bubble level and put it on each control arm, adjusting it until it is perfectly level. You don't want to go any lower than that or you will hurt your handling. Ans also, as mentioned above, corner balancing is the best way to select ride height, but it's a little expensive.

actually thinking about it... i have 40 in the front and 35 in the rear... and the gap seems to be about even between the front and rear. When i get it corner balanced sometime this spring/summer ill post up how much thread it is on each corenr... should allow people to be pretty close to balanced +/- a few lbs for driver weight

around 3-400 plus an alignment after that. Seems to be about the running rate around here. And you have to be there the entire time unless they have a staffer whose weight is close to yours.

it goes like this... weigh the car... lower a side... weigh the car raise a different side... weigh the car opps raised it too much lower it down a lil... but having it tuned would be beneficial if you race the car. If not, just get an alignment and be done with it.

because when it comes to something as major as this, the last thing i wanna do is screw it up, id rather have people with expierience and who have done it before do it, i think its worth the cash

Just do it yourself. It's very easy. But get someone to help. Four hands work better than two.

EDIT - what's to screw up? Pop them in, tighten all the bolts, and set the height/dampening as needed. Unless you leave a bolt off, you're fine.
