go to your local mitsubishi dealer and ask about it...they should be able to give you some info

 

Read one of the threads on Mitsu mentioning this site during their Evo training, and then say that you can go to a dealership and get good info. Mitsu is actually DIRECTING their salespeople to this site to gain more information on the upcoming cars, because this really is a nexus for all information on the Lancer, pulling from sources within the Mitsu corporation, magazines, press releases, and various autoshows. I'd say that you're gonna get more info on any Lancer by spending five minutes here than going to your dealer and talking to a sales guy for an hour. I highly advise you to read up on the subject here, and then go to your dealerships, because while there are exceptions (as in when your sales guy is a true enthusiast), for the most part, dealerships are friggin' clueless.

 

thats what i figured. i called the mitsu dealer in the area and all he could tell me was that the '04's would arrive in the fall....duh, no kidding.
actually ive learned quite a lot here, im impressed with the knowledge some of you guys have, good job youll make an expert out of this noob one day

 

the new lancer(s) are going to be 160+ the Ralliart and the sportpack. The EVO puching over 270 hp still over runs the others. the only difference is the engine sizes from the 2.0L SOHC to the 2.8 (i think) DOHC.

 

Okay:

ES, LS and OZ essentially unchanged from last year as far as features are concerned and the same 2.0L engine.

Sportback available in LS and Ralliart trims. 160hp SOHC MIVEC 2.4L motor in the LS. 162hp version in the Ralliart. Automatic only for both.

Ralliart Lancer gets 162hp version available with 5sp or Auto. Sun and sound package includes Sunroof and 315 Watt 7 speaker soundsytem including an 8" sub in an enclosure.

No clue on pricing yet.
