There are a lot of threads about this subject. I'll tell you what I know because I helped out my friend on his OZ, however, you should also look a little harder because some people have better details.

1. First I would use rustoleum spray paint. It really good quailty spray and it won't chip as easily as Krylon and Duplicolor. It may cost a few more bucks, but it's worth it. You'll also need clear coat (same brand) and maybe some sandpaper (just in case you mess up)

2. Once you removed your panels you should wipe them from dust and put them in a even level area.

3. If your not handy with the spray paint I would get someone who is. (That's when my friend asked me for help)

4. Don't spray directly on the panel. You want to have a nice right to left action or vise versa. Let the middle part of the action be on the panel because thats when its less thick and the most even.

5. After a few hours clear coat it. Do it every hour or so for 2-4 days.

6. I would suggest waiting 2-3 days before installing the parts back. The clear coat should have done its job to make the paint smooth, shiny, and help prevent it from chipping. It took my friend and I about 1.5 weeks because we painted the big panels first then worked on the little ones. Good luck.

ummmm Crayola water colors and a paintbrush....

lol, I used Duplicolor Engine Enamel. First I prepped all the pieces with a plastic priming liquid to rough them up a bit, then 2 coats of primer and 3 coats of paint and 2-4 coats of clear. came out nice =)

remove, clean, sand (if desired) , prime, paint, let dry, paint again/let dry (if desired), clear coat....lots and lots of clear coat. Theres actually one I posted on here for using the mirage color change paint. I think you just need to search for "painting dash" but its probably buried under the 100 other ones of the same title. Good Lucks and post pics.

That's what I was planning on doing. I just wanted to double check with someone else that I wasn't forgetting anything.

Well yea thats like the basic stuff I put but it should get you on the right track. Hopefully more people will give there tips because it would suck to do so much work and have it looking like a half *** job with cracks and chipping. By the way, keep me updated and once your done, post up some pics if you can.
