Learning period for CVT

How long does it take for the CVT trans to learn your driving stlye, is it like a minute or a month. maybe a stupid question, but I've had my GTS for about a month now and I'm woundering if it maybe has even more to offer me.

I'm becoming pleasantly surprised by the amount of power my Lancer ES has on tap. I'm not sure if going past 1000 miles on the ODO caused the ECU to unlock some of that power, or if I simply wasn't pushing it before. But it definitely feels like I've got more than adequate passing power for highway maneouvers now.
