Hi just want to know if a vortex generator from a evo 8 could fit my 02 lancer? , also i want to get an opinion about , my car is yellow so would i put the generator in yellow or black color. thanks.

I have a yellow OZ with a vortex generator. I bought the generator from Mitsu so it was made for the Evo/Lancer. Not sure on the model, might have to get back with you on that, but I kept mine black and it looks great. I have one picture but it's not that great, hope it helps nonetheless.

In all reality how much does this help with wind resistance? How fast do you have to be going before it starts to really help... anyone? I have thought about getting one now that I am turbo'ed but not sure

 

weather or not it really helps a lot you should get one anyways for looks. i like em a lot, and i bought mine off ebay im pretty sure it was labeled an evo 8/9 VG. heres a shot of mine just so u can see another i guess

 

It isn't meant to help wind resistance, it's designed to make the Evo wing on the Evo more effective thus increasing downforce on the rear end at high speed. Unless you're at the track every weekend, you won't notice it.
