i am using the 4g64 tranny ,motor and yes all the mounts work but the left one. where the cam gear is at i had to use the 3g eclipse mount the harness bolts up but one plugs up the one that connects under the tb. i had to used the 3g axles but have to get them cut at a driveshaft shop to the size of the mirage ones. i have 1997 ls coupe and it works with the ecu but i want to get a 2.4l ecu but i dont know if the galant or eclipse 2.4 ecu well bolt right up?

 

How much did that swap cost?
Whats the benefit of a 4G64? Isnt that a Galant motor?

Yea, I did the swap on the lancer and I FINALLY got around to doing the write up on it. And yes, my baby is dead now, but now that I am done mourning (she will ALWAYS be in my heart though) I got around to talking about her and the swap. READ AWAY, and if anyone has questions...let me know.

i got a 4g64 swapped in my 98 mirage, im werkin on the rebuild now with performance rod and pistons with a 9.2 comp ratio from SBR, Shortly after im gonna git a supercharger from rippmods and awd from an evo 6 tranny

 

I have done the swap into my 02 lancer es as well , I would highly recommend doing it , the car feels really good now... I made a write up under the 02-07 lancer sub forum on here...

 

I have an 02 lancer oz rally that I want to do a 2.4L build in it with a turbo what do I need and how do I go about changing it all. Will I need to change the ecm or anything like that also
