RRM Header Installed

welp i installed it today and it seems fine... so far. here is how it looks:

.:Old Header:.

my ONLY concern about this is when i drove it around for a test drive, it smelled like there was an electrical burn or something. i opened my hood and saw a little bit of smoke coming from the exhaust gasket/o2 sensor area. not sure what exactly its from cause everything seems pretty normal )except for the big exhaust gasket.. its the mirage one that ppl said to buy). Im not sure if the fans ever came on right when you turned on the car or not but they dont. only time i see them turn on is when i flip the air on. i drove down the street, popped my hood, and noticed they were still off. i dunno i was just a little concerned about that. overall the drive seems fine but a little sluggish. i havnt drove my car for about a week/week-n-a-half or so, so maybe its just me.

oh yea and in the second pic under RRM Header, you see next to the bolt that there is a hole there. the old bolt thats supposed to help hold the header in place didnt fit. not sure if that was really important or not but thought id let you all know. also my check engine light never came on yet. hope it stays that way

any answers to what might be causeing the smoke would be greatly appreciated. thanks

(sry about the big pics. i tried to make them smaller but they seem to keep coming back to size...)

*UPDATE*

well after taking my car for a spin a few times today, it seemed to have gotten better. no smoke and the smell is slowly going away. i had nothing else to do so i made a cheap video (mainly for sound) so dont worry about the quality.

i only have two mods so far:

k&n typhoon sri
rrm header

it won't. best bet is to head on down to www.bigjoshracing.com and pick yourself up a mil eliminator for your second O2 sensor. engineerboy has a very helpful post for when you wish to install it.

150 shipped. got it from a user on these boards. had a few ppl telling me 150 shipped so i figured it was fine. i know i coulda gotten a brand new injen sri or somethin for a little bit more but its all good. im happy with what i got anyways probably wouldnt have made much of a difference except that has a heatshield and these dont.

Usually the smoke it just oil burring off pipes when you did install. It should go away. I check out pics. Install looks fine. Pretty hard to goof up a header install.
