its not going to be functional. only for show. if it were functional it would have a crank or something on the inside to let cool air into the cabin.
here is a link to where you can get it, this is the exact one i bought.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=36475
good luck finding a body shop to do it, i went to 4 before anyone would consider it.

Just ordered mine. I got just the place to install it!
I think I'll modify mine to make it "functional".

All a roof scoop does it bring air into the cabin. It is meant for REAL RALLY cars. Their windows dont come down.

If i was gonna install a roof scoop, I'd almost want it to be a cai ... and modify it so that it could tunnel cold air into the intake. Not sure how we'd accomplish this without alot of cutting though hehe

It's also for cars that don't have A/C, no a/c = more hp

Hmm wouldnt that hurt the flow of air around the car?? Go fast enough might rip it right off... wondering how much a funtional one would cost anyone thing it would look good with a kaminari kit??

NO AC or AC doesnt matter. As long as its NOT turn to the AC on the knob ur not using it. So technically having it or not its the same. It's just a show mod and it has no real purpose basicly. If it floats ur boat, sail away!

actually wouldnt that help make the car lighter-no A/C so it kinda does help having no A/C right?? oo BTW i think it might look better if it was closer to the front doesnt look right in the middle of your roof.kinda out of place

well, the main purpose is that the AC draws power from the engine... thus artificially decreasing the horsepower temporarily. The AC system doesnt way that much I think.

ill post better pics, its not that close to the middle. but i couldnt put it too close because the roof starts to slope down and the scoop wouldnt bend. and the opening is blocked off, so no wind can get in there to possibly pull it off. it was also closed off so water wouldnt get in
