Sorry bro, I am not a huge fan, however I do like the unique idea. And if you are doing this for show, if I were a judge, I'd chose someone with a nice body kit installed over a guy with a roof scoop installed. Shouldn't really knock those with apex or kaminari kits. Considering some hell some of us had to go through to get them installed. Overall, it is your ride and you do what you think is cool, stick with your gut feeling. Not everyone will like your car or what you do, that's just how it is. For instance, I know tons of people won't like my car once my graphics get done on Wednesday, however, I am doing it to help me drag attention at shows, and because I hand drew them. Good luck to you bro, post pics when it's done for sure!

So I already have a steel Evo VII style vented hood.

-Install this scoop over the vents and pipe air directly into RMR heatshield/MAS adapter through the side opening (K&N filter is already on).

-Install the scoop under the car and pipe the air up through the same hole.

-Install the scoop on the roof and run piping through the A pillar, under the dash, through the firewall and into the engine bay.

-Install the scoop on "The mother of all bongs", light up and inhale deeply.

-Invert the scoop, like on the Camaro Z28 455 HO Air Induction motor and use it to feed a Ram Air setup.

hmm wink wink..that green eclipes from F&F have a nice hood scoop...it looks pretty bad!!! hope urs come out just as good...
imo: if the openning of the scoop is more towards the front of the car...like right behind the windshield....it will look a lot better...

just wondering....did you actually read the whole thread before posting? his profile says that he drives a 2k03 OZ, not an evo. but, back to on topic, I like the scoop, it gives it character, I'm doing the same thing, though I'm going to make it functional.
