Water Spots

I washed my car with that Mr. Clean auto dry thing but I was in a hurry so I didn't take my time. Now my car has water spots all over it . I've washed it twice since I made this mistake and the only way to get them off was to use some chemical stuff that my mom uses to clean showers and bathtubs . It worked but it took me almost 2 hours to do just the trunk and the hood. Anyone know anything else that works really well for getting water spots off or am I screwed?

Try Wink. It is a clothes rust remover. I use is when I get spots. You have to nuetralize it as soon as the spots are gone, use windex or water. It will remove the wax too.
It's a detailer's secret for water spot removal.
I got a couple bottles from Walmart in the clothing dye section.

No no, it works, we've used it on my mom's car and my dad's truck, but I just did it too fast. You're supposed to wash away the water with the mr clean water. I didn't know that so I just sprayed a thin coat on it. Basically you just replace the hose water with the Mr. Clean water but I guess I didn't get all the old water off. Its not that it doesn't work its that I screwed up majorly.

I use the Mr CLean system and it works great for me. You really do have to take your time tough. A couple tips for using it's i'v elearned the hard way.

-Park it in the shade and let it cool down (esp here i arizona)
-try not to let the soapy water dry on the car, if it does just spray more soapy water on it and rub with a sponge
-you've really gotta go over the car good with the spot free rinse, just a quick pass over the car won't do it.
-any spots i've had afterwards, i just spray some windex on it, let it sit for about 10-20 seconds, and wipe off.

just a couple things to keep in mind if you're wanting to try it or have problems. I really like it and haven't had major problems, and i've got the pearl blue paint wich is moderately dark so i se every spot on there too.

Yeah, my car is black so I can totally see the outline of the water spots. They were huge and had like little white ovals. They are getting better. I planned on going to the "touchless" car wash where they send it through, and then when the water spots didn't come off I would scream at them and see if they'd get rid of them

Mr Clean works for me too. I just wish I could get more pressurized water from it.
