well i don't see it as being any different than installing Eibachs. You basically just need spring compressors, basic tools, and an impact wrench or mitsu special tool #MB991682 ( ) to take off the top mount for the front struts. Run a search and see what kinda crap people went through to get their eibachs on.

It's been covered before that the Eibach Pro Kit needs compressors while the Progress springs don't need em.

Not too sure about ease since i ended up taking the front strut assemblies to a shop and had them put the springs on. The back strut assemblies are easier to take apart. Spring compressors are definately needed.

Oh yeah, if you take it somewhere to have done, make sure the hole on the top mount is aligned with the hole on the spring perch on the strut.

impact wrench-yes
spring compressor-no
As long as you can put 20lbs of pressure on the cap to start the nut on the thread, you don't need a spring compressor. Just watch out where the end of the assembly is pointed when taking off the nut for the stocks, they hold a little more energy than 20 lbs at that length. 45 min. for both fronts, 45 min for each back(the trunk sucks to rip apart)

you can always rent a spring compressor from your local auto parts store. many just require that u put down a refundable deposit

forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is an impact wrench - - maybe i do know what it is but i call it something different? . . . . i call it an air gun? . . . . a wrench hooked up to an air compressor??

i have the progress springs too, but havent had time to put them on yet - - - my brother is gonna help me out cause hes got an air compressor and all the necessary goodies. . . . .

and does anybody know the bolt torque specs for the front and rear struts?
