Did you check your brake fluid yet?

You mean.. the e-brake light as in the BRAKE light that is on the gauge cluster?

First I would take off the center console part inbetween the seats. (two screws inside the armrest cubby, then pull it straight up near the front section by the e-brake) There is a little grounding point with a wire that runs to the e-brake so when you lift it, the BRAKE light comes on. Your wire might be barely touching a ground whenever your car moves a certain way.

Check the brake fluid first. It may be low and causing your issue.

thats def gunna be the problem, most car manufactuers are to lazy to make lights for everything, which is i guess good cuz i dont need a dash of blinking lights, and the e-brake light is what normally doubles as a check fluid level light. i'd go w/ rcheung and go check your fluids

If it happens that the fluid is low don't fill it up right away. Your brake pads may be low so you might want to check that too.

Did you check the pads too? If the brake fluid is low, unless there is a leak , the pads are low too. Could be front or back or both.

Definitely check for leaks. My brake light had to come on three times (with me adding brake fluid everytime...) before I finally located the brake fluid dripping out of the caliper bolt. Tightened it down and haven't had a problem since.
