flywheel help

there's lots of reviews about the fidanza flywheel, and quite a few claiming praise towards this product. needless to say, my clutch went out, and i decided to replace the stock flywheel as well. my mechanic told me last night the clutch went in fine, but the flywheel is slightly too big. Any suggestions as far as shimming, etc. ? i'd personally rather get it right the first time than pay for more labor later.

thanks for putting up with my idiocy.

EDIT: the stock bolts that attach the flywheel seem to be 4 to 5 mm too small.

the bolts arent too small, use just dont use the stock flywheel shim. i mean u still use one but u dont use the spacer for the stock flywheel. DO NOT screw this up, itll cost u if you do. what mechanic did you take it to anyway? they should know not to use the one shim so it fits, and works w/ the starter. i had this same problem but then i realized the stock shim was my problem, tell your mechanic to test fit it to make sure it lines up properly with your starter gear.
to explain it, the fidanza is thicker at the center than the stock one so it doesnt crack(its soft aluminum), when you go to the shop look at the center of your stock flywheel(really hard steel), it very skinny, now compare it to your fidanza, the fidanza is like 5 times thicker and in that the fidanza already has the shims built into it.
hope this helps
